Consul General Oliver Maire to Host Star-Studded Night Featuring Special Appearance by Dancehall Star Cham, with Music by DJs Jazzy T & Richie D
HOLLYWOOD, FL — South Florida’s Jamaican community and music lovers from around the world are invited to celebrate 64 years of Jamaican Independence at JAM IN’ 64, taking over DAER Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Thursday, August 6. Doors open at 8:00 PM for what is shaping up to be one of South Florida’s hottest Independence Day celebrations of the year.
The evening will be hosted by Consul General Oliver Maire, bringing an official touch of Jamaican pride and diplomacy to a night dedicated to honoring the island’s rich culture, music, and heritage.
Headlining the night is a special appearance by acclaimed dancehall artist Cham, known for hits that have helped define the genre on the global stage. Keeping the dance floor moving all night will be DJs Jazzy T & Richie D, spinning a high-energy mix of Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Soca, Hip-Hop, and R&B.
