Jamaica wrapped up the World U20 Championships in Eugene with eight medals — two gold, three silver and three bronze — to finish fourth on the medal table. 🇯🇲

The final day brought three more medals as Joseph Salmon claimed bronze in the men’s discus, Jamaica stormed to gold in the women’s 4x100m in a world U20-leading 42.89, and the men’s 4x100m team battled to bronze in a season’s best 39.01.

The United States topped the standings with 24 medals, followed by Kenya and Italy, while Jamaica finished ahead of several major athletics nations, including Australia, Ethiopia, France, China and South Africa.

Another strong showing from Jamaica’s next generation on the world stage.
