Jamaica was right in the middle of the action at the 2026 Palio Città della Quercia in Rovereto, Italy.
In the men’s shot put, Rajindra Campbell led the way, taking the victory with 22-point-1-7 meters. American Payton Otterdahl was second with 21-point-8-1, while Italy’s Zane Weir finished third at 21-point-1-7.
On the track, Sabrina Dockery earned a podium finish in the women’s one-hundred meters, placing third in 11-point-2-5 seconds. Gabby Thomas won the race in 11-point-zero-2, with Christania Williams second in 11-point-1-8.
Jamaica also featured strongly in the men’s high jump. Romaine Beckford cleared 2-point-2-2 meters to share second place, while Raymond Richards finished sixth with 2-point-1-6.
And in the men’s one-hundred meters, Kadrian Goldson placed fourth in 10-point-1-2 seconds, as South Africa’s Bayanda Walaza won in a meeting record of 9-point-9-1.
