Efforts to raise funds for families displaced by fire

The City of Bridgetown branch of the Barbados Labour Party is on board with a community-led initiative to raise funds to assist the families displaced by the recent massive fire in Wellington Street.

The owners of Deonte Exquisite Lighting and Dirty Kicks 246 have banded together to organise charity football matches set for July 2 at the Wildey Astroturf.

Over 50 people and more than 15 homes were impacted by the fire.

Communication Consultant with The City of Bridgetown constituency, Ziggy Marshall expects the assistance will go a long way for the fire victims.

Barbadians interested in contributing to the cause can do so through the charity, made it against the odds.
