The Hilton Barbados Resort is adding more colour to its cricket mural as we approach the finals of this year’s ICC T-20 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

And those traversing the hotel’s foyer will soon see the semi and finalist teams etched on the wall.

Artists A3 Designs collaborated on the moving mural.

Presently, they are painting the first teams and will do the others as they are announced.

At the top of the mural is the likeness of two cricketers who will represent the teams set to play the final match on June 29 at Kensington Oval.

Following the announcement of the finalists, the cricketers will append their signatures next to the mural.

The group tells CBC News this is the first time they’ve worked together on such a mural.

But they have had differing views on the overall concept.

And while the women say they are not heavily invested in cricket, they have been paying close attention to the finalists that may have to be painted in.
