Hotels safe

From the hoteliers’ perspective, there have been no reports of damage to property or injury to tourists from members of the barbados hotel and tourism association.

That is according to the Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, Ryan Ford.

He says though there has been an increase in visitors on the island for the recently concluded Cricket World Cup, hotels were well-equipped with the resources and occupancy space to accommodate guests during the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

Mr. Forde spoke of some of the measures that were taken to ensure the safety of tourists.
