As recovery efforts continue after Hurricane Melissa, Marilyn McDonald, Manager of Community Renewal at JPS, and Dane McLean, Project Manager at the Jamaica Social Investment Fund, outlined how essential services were delivered directly to residents in Beeston Spring, Westmoreland.

Through a Community Connect Fair, families received assistance with house wiring, help replacing important documents, medical care and access to social services, underscoring a coordinated effort to rebuild lives not just by restoring electricity but also by restoring stability and hope.
