The Bermuda Tourism Authority has kicked off a global search for the organization’s new chief executive officer.
Interim CEO Glenn Jones is currently serving in the role, following the resignation of former CEO Kevin Dallas last year.
“A global CEO search will be launched, and this will provide the opportunity for the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) to determine what expertise is available and how we best position the organization to discharge its critical mission on behalf of Bermuda,” the BTA said in a statement.
In a statement, the organization said Jones’ “steadying hand and presence have provided encouragement to the valued staff and he has been a bridge between stakeholders and local tourism economy participants during a period of great uncertainty.”
“We owe him our collective gratitude,” the BTA said.
