The women’s one-hundred-meter hurdles could be one of the biggest showdowns of the Ultimate Championships in Budapest.

And once again, all eyes will be on Masai Russell.

The Olympic champion arrives unbeaten in 2026, having already broken the world record with 12-point-zero-9 in Zurich before winning her first Diamond League title in Brussels in 12-point-2-0.

Russell has been the standard all season, but the challengers are stacked.

Former world record-holder Tobi Amusan has run 12-point-2-3 this year, while Devynne Charlton arrives after clocking a Bahamian national record of 12-point-3-3 in Brussels.

European champion Nadine Visser has also run 12-point-3-4, while Jamaica brings major championship experience through two-time world champion Danielle Williams, along with Megan Simmonds, who finished third at the Diamond League Final.

Alaysha Johnson, Pia Skrzyszowska and Rayniah Jones add even more depth to a loaded field.

The semifinals are set for Friday, September 11 at 8-oh-4 p.m., with the final at 9-twenty p.m.

Russell has already rewritten the record books in 2026.

Now Budapest will answer the big question — can anybody stop her?
