Amid growing discontent about delays by insurance companies in honouring claims from victims of Hurricane Melissa, the Financial Services Commission says it is targeting October 16 to release information on Hurricane Melissa claims and its engagement with insurers.

The FSC says it is now reviewing outstanding claims, settlement delays and insurers’ claims-handling practices.
