🇺🇸 “LITTLE SLOPPY” — RUSSELL STILL WINS IN LAUSANNE

Masai Russell admitted the opening of her race was “a little sloppy,” but she still came away with the women’s 100m hurdles victory at the Lausanne Diamond League.

Russell clocked 12.27 seconds, finishing ahead of Nadine Visser (12.42) and Alaysha Johnson (12.49). Jamaica’s Demisha Roswell was seventh in 13.03.

Russell, whose season best is 12.14, said there are “still more technical things to find and work on” after returning to competition following a five-week break.
