Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector Colin Jordan is refuting statements by former Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, suggesting that Government plans to amend the Employment Rights Act because it favours workers.
Mr. Stuart made the comment at a political meeting last weekend.
In response, Minister Jordan wants Stuart to indicate where and when the information was conveyed that Government wants to amend the act.
Minister Jordan adds he takes comments such as what has been made by Stuart seriously.
