A proposed multi-million-dollar tourism development on Jamaica’s north coast is facing mounting opposition over concerns about its potential environmental impact.

At a public consultation meeting on Wednesday, residents and environmentalists pushed back against plans by Sandals Resorts to construct over-water suites in Mammee Bay, St Ann.
