Police in St Catherine South are continuing their investigation into a major heist at the Portmore branch of Scotiabank.

Investigators believe members of an organised criminal network broke into the bank’s Automated Banking Machine (ABM) servicing room on Braeton Parkway in Portmore and escaped with tens of millions of dollars.

Early estimates suggest that more than J$60 million was stolen.
