Political Scientist Peter Wickham is questioning the decision to have acting President of the Democratic Labour Party Andre Worrell appointed the new Opposition Senator in the Upper House.

Mr. Wickham adds that replacing Ms. Watson with another female would have been the ideal move considering that her removal from the Senate would have triggered controversial debate.
