Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has been engaging in discussions at the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States, SIDS4.
One of those was a high level meeting on mobilising resources for SIDS.
During that session, she raised the issue of the World Bank’s graduation policy that is based on a country’s gross domestic product per capita.
She’s described it as an inappropriate metric.
