Youth from one St. Michael community are giving back to the hurricane-ravaged islands of Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Organiser of the popular garden party A Journey to Yoruba Jamanni Brathwaite says seeing the destruction to the islands, his team decided since barbados was less impacted the least they could do was give to those countries.
Donations include water, non-perishables, clothes and baby supplies.
Mr. Brathwaite adds that proceeds from the garden party will be used to uplift people in impoverished communities across Barbados.
The group is also set to host a Breakfast Feeding Programme on August 25.
